Or not. You probably won’t get rich but you can become a published writer if you can navigate the confusion of bricks-and-mortar houses, self-publishing services and that old standby, vanity press. Agents, rights and royalties, marketing and making a profit- every website promises something different.

I have published many articles and even produced a play but I am proudest of my two books and plan to publish another.

The road to print is long and hard because the Internet and the down economy are changing the publishing business. Yet writers will write and pray for publication no matter what. Right now I see three paths through the woods that may help you whether you are just getting started or are lost in the wilderness.
